Framebrains is looking for an independent filmmaker who not only knows how to operate a camera but also takes creative leadership throughout the entire production process. Someone who wants to push commercial film and content to new heights—whether it’s making a burger look like a divine culinary masterpiece or crafting a beauty campaign with so much luxury and glow that it makes a Dior ad feel like a budget production.

We want someone who thrives on taking projects from concept to final film—developing ideas, creating visual strategies, directing on set, and ensuring a sharp and precise post-production process.

We don’t believe in playing it safe. We believe in finding the angle that makes a campaign iconic, the color grading that makes every frame look expensive, and the editing that makes the audience actually care. That doesn’t mean we only work with big budgets at Framebrains, but no matter the budget, our clients always get our full creative potential.

Maybe you’ve tried running your own business and know how lonely it can be. Or maybe you’ve worked at an agency and missed doing fun projects—because five different managers kept meddling with your ideas.

You have a sharp eye for storytelling, a strong sense of pacing, and you understand how lighting can transform a scene from “meh” to “wow.” When you shoot, you’re already thinking about how the edit will look. When you edit, you know exactly what kind of music will set the mood.

You’re the right fit if you

• -Think like a director, shoot like a DoP, and edit like a storytelling wizard.
• -Get frustrated when you see a campaign that could have been great but falls flat
• -Can shoot with emotion, light scenes to make them look high-end, and edit with flawless timing
• -Know how to make a film with a tight budget look premium.
• -Understand that we’re a small company where everyone pitches in—and that’s what makes it fun
• -Are proficient in DaVinci Resolve. Knowledge of the Adobe suite is a big plus
• -Are comfortable handling client relationships and maintaining a professional dialogue
• -Have still photography skills? Awesome. Not a requirement, but a bonus
• -Can express yourself fluently in English, both spoken and written

You’re fast, proactive, and adaptable. You know that deadlines must be met and that quality should never be compromised.

What You’ll Be Doing:

One day, we’ll be in a studio shooting an ad for a luxury brand, where every second of the 15-second spot is as carefully thought out as your choice of workplace—making sure their exclusive scarves convey the elegance and timelessness they deserve.

The next day, we’ll be helping one of the biggest sushi chains in the Nordics establish a cohesive visual identity for their content, creating a film where every piece of sushi is an experience—the rice falls perfectly, the salmon glistens under the light, and the soy sauce is captured in slow motion as if it were liquid gold. Because it’s not just about food, it’s about making people feel the taste through the screen.

No matter the project, we make sure it’s stunning, smart, and unforgettable.

Your main responsibilities:

-Pre-production: Take the lead in creative development, from concept ideation to planning.
-Production: Act as the creative lead on set as a directing cinematographer.
-Post-production: Oversee selection and editing, incorporating graphic elements where needed.
-Development: Stay on top of trends and constantly find new ways to create film content that stands out.
-Professional problem-solving.

He’s a financial ninja with a voracious appetite for ideas & concepts.

Eric, the creativity guru and our Creative Director: He’s a whiz at ideas, concepts, and production. No one quite understands how he manages to come up with so much, but the ideas just keep flowing. Absent-minded? Definitely. So don’t be surprised if you’re chatting away and after 10 minutes realize he hasn’t caught a single word…

Felix, the 3D specialist who saves the day: Officially our 3D specialist, but in reality, so much more. In a team of tech geeks, Felix works an uphill battle. He’s our very own Houdini when it comes to untangling knotty problems. Fortunately, he’s also razor-sharp in 3D.

Afshin, the grading ninja from Iran: A master of color grading, thanks to years of experience. If he’s not feeling the creative spark, he won’t hesitate to label a project as ‘crapwich’. His attitude is always evolving, but his honesty keeps us moving forward!
